Oreo Mug Cake
This decadent mug cake is made with actual Oreos for the most intensely chocolate treat! In just 5 minutes, you can have a warm, gooey, individual cake that's studded with Oreo pieces. It's the perfect portion-controlled dessert for when you need chocolate NOW.
Ingredients
- 6 Oreo cookies
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for topping
- Optional: extra Oreo pieces for topping
Instructions
- 1 Separate Oreo cookies - you'll use both the cookies and the cream filling.
- 2 Place 5 Oreos (with cream) in a microwave-safe mug.
- 3 Add milk and mash with a fork until mostly smooth (some small chunks are fine).
- 4 Add baking powder and a pinch of salt, mixing well.
- 5 Roughly chop the remaining Oreo and fold into the batter.
- 6 Microwave on high for 60-90 seconds, watching carefully.
- 7 The cake should rise and look set on top.
- 8 Let cool for 1-2 minutes (it will be very hot!).
- 9 Top with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or extra Oreo pieces.
- 10 Enjoy immediately while warm and gooey.
